Meet the Taylor University Director of International Student Programs, Nate Chu.
Over the past decade, Nate Chu has worked at Taylor University in a variety of roles. When asked why he chose Taylor, Nate responded: “I am working at Taylor because I know this is where the Lord has called me to serve in this season…every year Ashley (my wife) and I take the time to pray and ask if Taylor is still where we are called.” Nate and Ashley met at Taylor, where they both lived in Swallow Robin Hall and he coached her flag football team. Every Saturday, Nate and his twin daughters go on a daddy-daughter-donut-date. Nate’s favorite aspects of Taylor include the teammates he gets to work with, the students they get to serve, and the peace that comes with knowing he is in the center of God’s will.
Revelation 7:9 is one of Nate’s favorite Bible verses: “After this I looked, and there was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, robed in white, with palm branches in their hands.” (NRSV). These verses paint a beautiful image of Kingdom diversity that Nate hopes is reflected in the work he does at Taylor.
