On January 16, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day was celebrated on campus. Dr. Aaron Lavender spoke at chapel and students and faculty gathered in the afternoon to share about the lives of influential African Americans in their prospective fields of study. This year’s theme was “Lift” as we lift up the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and others around us.
